"It is difficult to understand the system of going to the private beaches: that you need to reserve sunbeds, how much they cost etc. The beach club staff are rude and unhelpful, with no signs up explaining how to reserve or how much they cost. Some beach clubs had sunbeds that were empty all day yet the staff said they were fully booked. The 'new' town of Agropoli is not clean and in the daytime many places were closed. It was better at night. But the old town is beautiful and very well run by comparison. The old town has a wonderful atmosphere and the overall experience there is good The trains from Agropoli Castellabate station were late every time we used them. One of the days we had to take a taxi , even though we had already bought train tickets, because the train was so late."

"Lidi troppo costosi. Spiaggia libera impraticabile. Tariffe Parcheggi comunali troppo costose. Negozianti non sempre accoglienti."

"Agropoli ha un grande potenziale a livello naturalistico, ma e' una cittadina commerciale e non tenuta benissimo. Il cibo non e' di qualita' come ci si aspetterebbe da una localita' del Sud Italia ed e' veramente troppo caro. Bisognerebbe assestare il tiro su queste cose secondo me."
